Lauren Bateman tackles Reality TV series

Lauren recently performed at the Nelson's Ride in Glouchester for the television series Biker Chicz, a reality documentary on the lives of women that ride motorcycles. The band recorded their hour long performance for the show from which select footage will be show on international television. The Premiere for the Biker Chicz reality TV series will be held on Sept. 26th at Kowloon's on Route 1.

Guardian Angel Wins International Distribution

Lauren's song, Guardian Angel, was selected by the Minnesota Association of Christian Songwriters for their Songs Your Mother Should Hear Contest. The selection includes radio airplay as well as free national and  international distribution.

The news comes just before the release of Lauren's debut album, I've Been Waiting, and is a tribute to Lauren's late aunt that lost her battle to pancreatic cancer last April.

"I'm just so happy. I know that she would be estatic to know that her song is going to be able to touch the lives of so many people. The song has really come such a long way since last year. It really is such a great moment for me and I'm glad that her memory will live on in such a beautiful song."

Guardian Angel will be available for download through iTunes and Lauren's store starting March 1st.

Lauren Bateman Selected for Boston's Chick Singer

Lauren was selected as one the few artists that will perform at this year's Chick Singer Night in Boston. Now in it's 20th year nationally and 6th year in Boston, it is the nation's original and longest running songfest for female artists. The show takes place at Johnny D' in Somerville, MA and help to benefit music in schools programs.

"I've Been Waiting" Included on Compilation CD

Lauren's song I've Been Waiting, the title track of her debut album, will be included on the upcoming compilation CD Many Roads From Home. The compilation is a project including 12 other artists featuring musical stylings from all over the globe.

Over 5,000 copies of the CD are planned to be distributed worldwide. Look for updates on the album's release later this year.

Lauren Bateman makes Boston Pride Idol Finals

Lauren recently competed in this years Boston Pride Idol and was nominated as a Top 10 finalist.

Come support Lauren at Club Cafe in Boston on Wednesday June 9th. Tickets are $20 for the VIP room and $10 for the front room. You will be given a ballot to vote for your favorite singer. Lauren hopes that you will write her name on your ballot.
