Welcome to my Imagine guitar chords chart. This song is by John Lennon and it's actually a pretty simple guitar song. It's usually one of the first songs I teach my beginner guitar students and it's a great song to play on an acoustic guitar.
The strumming pattern we are going to use is a eighth note strumming pattern that has a little bit of dynamics to it. We are going to use an alternating bass strum pattern. Check it out below.
Also, if you hate barre chords, the easier Fmaj7 is a great option.
