Easy One Finger Guitar Chords For Beginners
My easy one finger guitar chords for beginners is a great way to get started on guitar if your are an absolute beginner. The three chords we will be learning are mini power chords for the A, D and E chords.

I find many guitar teachers try to teach beginner guitar students chords that are sometimes just too hard for the absolute beginner. So I use a step-by-step approach to learning guitar chords in an easier way. I will share with you how I go about teaching students their first four chords on guitar.

These easy guitar chords use your index finger, and we will be moving that finger to different places on the second fret of the guitar. Take a look at the diagram below to see. We start at the 5th string second fret for the E5 chord, then move down the 4th string second fret for the A5 chord and lastly move down to the 3rd string second fret for the D5.
Practice moving in order first. E5 to A5 to D5 and back. Then try jumping around E5 to D5 and back.
