Ex And Ohs Chords & Guitar Lesson
Welcome to my Exs and Ohs chord chart by Elle King. I got a request for this one. Now there is a B Major chord that pops up in the song which can be a pretty tricky barre chord for many people. You can use the B7 throughout the song to avoid the use of the B chord.
There are some muted parts to the song as well were our hand will rest on the guitar but not press hard enough to make the strings sound. You'll continue to strum and you will only hear the scraping sound of the pick on the guitar.
The strumming patterns is based off the acoustic version of the song. I have posted a video of that below.

Ex And Ohs Strumming Patterns:
We will focus on accenting (strumming harder) on the 2 and 4 beat. This is a simplified version of the strumming which she does vary in the song a bit especially with the dynamics. If you stick with 8th note strumming you can't go wrong. Or can you?
