Surfin USA Chords & Guitar Lesson

Welcome to my Surfin USA Chord Chart by The Beach Boys. This is a great tune if you love surf rock. It has a cool little intro lick and some easy chords if you’re willing to use a Capo.

Now the chords we are going to use in this lesson tutorial are the chords A, D and E. There is the occasional E7 chord, but that’s as easy as lifting up one finger. See below.

E7

If you don’t want to play the E7 chord, that’s absolutely fine, make it even easier by just holding the E chord. You can play this without a capo, but if you want it to sound like the record, you’re going to have capo at the 6th fret.
