The Reason Chords & Guitar Lesson

Welcome to my The Reason chord chart by Hoobastank. I've made some alternations to this chart to make it easier for you to play on the beginner level, meaning you will need a capo on the 4th fret to play along and have it sound like the song. If you do not have a capo, I recommend ordering a Kyser Capo from Amazon.

In the bridge there is a key change which requires the use of a Bb chord which for almost all beginners can be a royal pain in the butt. The alternatives are to play a Bb power chord, if you know how to play power chords OR to just play the bass not on the 5th string 1st fret. You can also use the easy Fmaj7 chord instead of F.

Verse:
C          C                      Am
      I'm not a perfect person
